Family and Friends of Sherry Black to Post Reward Flyers in South Salt Lake Neighborhood

| November 29, 2012 | 0 Comments

On Friday, November 30, family and friends of Sherry Black will gather at the bookstore (3466 South 700 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 ) where Sherry was murdered two years ago and proceed to post flyers throughout the South Salt Lake Neighborhood. Members of the general public are welcome to participate.

The flyers announce a $100,000 reward, available through December 31, 2012, for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Sherry’s killer.   There continues to be $50,000 ongoing reward that will remain available after the December 31 deadline.

In addition to the flyer, a mailer has been sent to 6,000 homes and businesses within in the South Salt Lake area announcing the reward.  The mailers were delivered this week.

Again this year, Heidi Black Miller, Sherry’s daughter, has donated a tree to the annual Festival of Trees, benefiting Primary Children’s Medical Center, in honor of her mother.  This year’s tree is based on the theme: Christmas in New York.

Greg and Heidi Miller, as well as a representative from the South Salt Lake Police Deparment, will be available for interviews at the Black residence (3466 South 700 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84106) on Friday morning at 8 a.m. Media wishing to speak to them earlier may make arrangements through Linda Luchetti at lluchetti@lhm.com or (801) 325-2570.
